WOW - wow & flutter

Maybe my thinking is wrong, but I want to create a fake knob to display some value in the GUI. For example, if I wanted to create an input level meter.

example2

Hello, the time has come and the new release is here.

New feature list

  • shape selector for modulation of wow and flutter
  • flanger
  • envelope follower
  • head offset
  • crossfeedback
  • tap tempo

Please before copy new version uninstall old one.
Download link(builded in Dwarf).

Have a nice time

Any chance for Mod Duo X version?)

We need to setup a source-code project if we want to see hvcc based plugins into the platform.

I think something alike done with max-gen in GitHub - moddevices/max-gen-plugins: Collection of MAX gen~ based audio plugins used in MOD Audio might work, then we describe the steps needed to get a plugin built and testing automatically, and some kind of “steps to follow” for asking the plugin for store inclusion.

@Jacube have you picked a license for the plugin side and graphics?

One problem is that this would create massive code duplication. In the current setup the internal Heavy library is copied over for each plugin.

I’m still looking into a way to split this into separate directories, but priorities have been elsewhere.

In general I don’t think that committing computer-generated code into git makes a lot of sense. Especially since we have full control over the conversion code and process.

Its builded in dwarf, but maybe it working on other units to, can you test it?

No, you need to build specifically for Duo, DuoX and Dwarf separately.

What are the licensing options?

Ok, and cloud builder work for all units?

There are quite a few things involved for you here, specially for not being a regular (as in C/C++) plugin developer.

Give me some time to prepare/write some material around this, so it becomes clear what steps to follow for getting plugins into the store.

Amazing plugin !!! Thanks a lot for your work @Jacube !!!

I see those things :

  • Delay knob is not “officially” in ms, so we can’t link it to the Dwarf’s main tempo
  • some parameters are called differently in the GUI and in the parameters panel, it’s a bit confusing. For example Delay knob is called Time in the GUI
  • The HEAD OFFSET parameter is a blessing !!! Thanks !!! Wouldn’t it be more accurate if it was a percentage of the time ? (so the rhythm stays the same when we change the tempo)
  • Cool presets ! You may can add those ideas (is there a way to share a preset ?) :
    – head offset (to hear the stereo)
    – single repeat with slow wow

And amazing to see the small CPU consumption required for this amazing quality !

Thanks

  • yes this i will change
  • yes this i will change
  • maybe i can add it like option
  • its possible, but not user friendly, user presets is store in plugin folder in folder like “WOW-pressetName.lv2” you can share this folder.
