I’ve still not heard anything either, I’d be happy to hear that sales are being prioritised or something, but no news is a bit frustrating.

As a freelancer I understand how hard it is to approach a client when I’ve blown past a deadline (for any number of reasons).
I also know that there are people waiting to hear something from me and that the longer I wait to make the call, the more uncomfortable it will be.

Hi everyone
The Dwarf units will go out on January 15th.
The material was all bought by October and we were all set to deliver in 2024.
Already in December, the manufacturer sent me this very frustrating message:
Both me and the manufacturer tried to get the knobs asap, but December is high season and it was not possible.
Today the factory is back to activity and I finally got an ETA that the knobs arrive on January 10th.
On January 15th the first units will start shipping.
I am really sorry for the frustration.

Good news indeed!
Is the weird 3D line version our only option? Plain black looks much better.
To this day I have no idea why that was chosen, like my eyesight isn’t bad enough without extra lines everywhere.
Thankfully I got mine a bit earlier in standard black
If i’m not mistaken, It was a limited edition option for the first backers

I received notice two days ago from DHL that my package is on its way. Should be here today if I remember to pay the customs fee!

Mine is also on its way. Paid the fee already. But I’m in Canada, so taking a bit longer. Apparently has found its way to New York City, though.
Dood, that sucks.
I saw a video tour of a DHL distribution center. Sometimes a package gets knocked onto the wrong conveyor. When that happens it costs too much to stop the line so the package has to complete the journey on its new route before it can be re-routed.
I hope they get you sorted out quickly!

Took an extra 24 hours but my shipment is now out for delivery and due by day’s end.

From NYC to Cincinnati and now Southern Alberta. Sure a strange route to get to Manitoba, but scheduled to be here on Monday… And probably will cut the tape with the same Buck knife you used. Lol.

There’s no accounting for shipping routes. It’ll be one well-traveled Dwarf, that’s for sure.

I totally lost hope being one of those ‘founding members’ but it landed in Oz a couple of days ago. Initial impressions are good and I’m just glad I finally received one after many years.

As someone who managed to get in group 1 and have had a dwarf long enough to decide to pick up a used Duo X, I’m very excited for all you folks to get your units and start exploring, and chiming in here-- I’ve learned far more from other users than I could have managed on my own. It’s a great community full of creative solutions to problems you haven’t even thought of (despite some complaints about inherent limitations or flaws of the device)-- btw I hope the power supplies are noise-free at this point but if not definitely pick up an alternate.

It arrived! Yeah!! I also had lost almost all hope, but it’s now in my hands! Glad I opted for black, and am happy to see it still says “Founders Edition” on it. No time to fire it up right now though
