Hi! I’ve updated your level, so you should be able to post new topics. I’ve also moved your posts to a new topic. Good luck!

Thanks.

Would you be able to post the following:

  • how are you connecting the MOD Duo to your PC? USB?
  • what OS and browser are you using?
  • Can you post an image of your Web UI?

Thanks!

Hi,

I’m connected with my PC Windows 10 Family.

Google Chrome.

You are not using a MOD Duo, this is MOD Desktop.

Hi @Jumo

MOD desktop is a “virtual” device.
You don’t use it to connect to your device, it is a piece of software that ACTS as it is a device on its own.

So, you have to consider the MOD desktop as a totally separate device.

MOD devices have the interface built in, so you can connectie with any device that has a browser and you don’t need to install software everywhere. (damn I love how that works)

to connect to your REAL, physical device, you have to connect with your browser via the correct ip address. make sure you attach the USB cable to pc and MOD duo before powering up the Duo and enter the ip in your browser:

This IP and a lot of other useful info about the settings, can be found here:
(for your convenience, it is http://192.168.51.1)

Thanks but the 2 adresses, “modduolocal” and “192.168…” does not work for me.

Have you tried this?
https://wiki.mod.audio/wiki/Dwarf_Device_Settings#Net.2BMIDI_.28Windows.29

specifically

USB-B Mode Turn the leftmost endless knob to define the mode of the USB-B port on your MOD Dwarf. You can select between:

  • Network (Default)
  • Net+MIDI
  • Net+MIDI (Windows)

Note: to change the USB-B Mode on your MOD Dwarf it will be required to reboot the device.

No, thanks, I’m on Mod duo, it’s different.

Otherwise, I cant achieve to uptade the Mod duo, I dont know which files I got to drop in which content please.

I’ll search more on the forum ; but I dont find. Thanks.

Is it the mod duo x or mod duo?

Just to make sure,
Are you sure the usb connection between pc and duo is working well? Did you get a message from your operating system that is was connected?

Pc recognised my Mod duo. Kickstarter edition.

You can find all firmware releases here: Releases - MOD Wiki

False information, sorry, Mod Duo is not recognised in my PC.

I really don’t know how to make it work. Please.

Have you tried:

  • different usb cable
  • different usb port
  • different computer

I’ll.
