It sure looks like it is! I am still getting as much info as I can about the system. Any suggestions on where to start?

Cheers!

Yes, I’ve been doing just that. But being new to the MOD culture, I am not familiar with much of the involved terminology… But I’m getting there! The desktop interface is fabulous with its high resolution graphics and fluidity of movement. Definitely a great system. The only thing I would like see there is the possibility of adding your own plugins (vst, vst3…) after going through some sort of conversion procedure. That would be the cherry on top of the (already delicious) cake…

Cheers!

Hi! My name is Joel, I’m a music student at the University of California Santa Barbara. I’m currently working on a senior project creating an open-source modeling workflow for gigging guitarists. The essential design is a pairing of the RasPi4 with a PiSound hat, running a modified version of Patchbox OS that will load MODEP with NAM on boot, using a NAM model from a USB drive. I have little experience developing for embedded systems, so I’m going to need all the help I can get!

Hi there I’m Robert,
I’m a musician/artist and I’m freelancing as sound engineer
Previously, I’ve been quite involved in the ā€˜axoloti core’ community, mainly programming looper objects.
Because I’m not a developer/coder by trade, it’s more or less ā€˜spaghetti-code’ and I will be no help in coding firmware and such.
besides, I do a lot max/msp/ableton related stuff.

I got into the ā€˜mod dwarf’ because I discovered it can actually run amp models done with NAM.
also, I like the open-source orientation.
yeah

Hi All,

I’m Ben, a hobby bass and guitar player. My goal is to reduce my pedalboard size, and discover many new effects. I mainly work with Linux, so the MOD universe looks perfect.

Cheers!

Hi everybody,

I’m Simone, from Italy. I play guitar and am very much involved in coding and open source ( i’m evilsocket on github ). After reverse engineering the neuraldsp quadcortex firmware I found out their models are very primitive compared to NAM & co so I started getting dragged into the rabbit hole of neural profiling and ultimately ended up finding about MOD. I’m waiting for my mod dwarf to arrive today while I already started using mod-desktop on my mac quite successfully. Ideally I hope I’ll be able to help with the development efforts at some point.
