Hi! Come Introduce Yourself!

I’ve upgrade your trust level… can create a thread now ?

Thanks

Hi, I’m Nils, a jazz saxophone player from germany.
During the pandemic I picked up coding again and have put together some simple plugins, that I hope to be running on the mod dwarf, which I ordered today
I’m hoping to use the dwarf as my mobile music rig with all the effects, synths and samplers I’m already using on my desktop pc.

Now that I am thinking on keeping the mod dwarf by my side, I would like to introduce myself. I am Luis, from Spain, and guitar + guitarsynth player on a rock band

I use a gr-55 for all of my gigs, but I am willing to upgrade to more modern sounds and synths. I have tried mooer, line6, biasfx. They all sound great but I need an all in one (gr-55 style) and the mod dwarf looks promising.

I am struggling with cpu usage and noises, but I am very very close to something really playable!

Welcome @KuRi! Nice to have you here. Fyi: There are some threads for the noise cancellation. My two Dwarfs don’t make noise, not even a bit of. So, it is possible to make it noiseless.

totally O.T.: i prefer “Dwarves”, even though i realize it’s incorrect!

@Kim Thanks Kim for the welcome. After lot of trial and error I have my Dwarf almost noiseless, 100% usable now. And I am discovering lof of new use cases each minute.

I have ordered a second hand mod duo x as well. It will take two weeks until it arrives home, but I have some special cases where I need the extra cpu and ram

P.D: Today I have bought 100$ of plugins. Commercial ones are the best xD

@KuRi Wow! I also once planned to have a DuoX but then I decided to take two Dwarfs. I have them in series, so the main instruments runs through both of them. In the same time the other chanel is used for singing. It is a bit more of latency but I cannot hear it, thus, this is a pretty fine solution for me. But a DuoX… wow… very cool!

Hi all, just got myself a dwarf and having fun playing with it. I hope to get involved in making a bunch of Aida-X models of my equipment and seeing what daft things we can make this pedal do.

Greetings.

I’m Rob (Some Guy Named). Originally from Montreal, Canada, now living just outside of Ottawa, Canada.

Just recently picked up a Mod Duo X, and looking forward to tapping into its potential as a songwriting/live performance tool for guitar.

Looking forward to reading through the tips and tricks people have shared here over the past few years and learning about this awesome system.

Hi everyone,
I’m Francesco, i’m italian, i’m new on the Mod Audio Forum but i’m following the Mod Dwarf since it’s unveiling as a kickstarter, but only for the last 2 months i’ve had the pleasure to be a proud owner of a Dwarf.

I don’t have the knowledge to be able to create plugins, yet, but i’m following a new carrier as a sound tech and guitarist in a local band, i’d like to expand the Mod ecosystem via AIDA-X Captures, ControlChain devices, and in the future, learn how to code and add my favourite pedals to this powerful device.

Hey hey,
I just ordered a Mod Dwarf, I’m a pro game dev and a (not a pro) guitarist/composer, so it seems this is a perfect fit for me.
