That is to be seen by the people coding the Online Builder. It is open source: GitHub - mod-audio/mod-cloud-builder ![]()
Yes, definitely. By no means I want to impose anything. Just an idea. I know it’s easy to wish for things, time consuming and harder to implement them
Indeed ![]()
One of the changes we want to bring with all these measures is to allow this constructive cycle within community members and without a constant burden on the team.
c’mon @brummer
help us get the Cloud builder - GitHub - mod-audio/mod-cloud-builder - updated to support the mod-plugin-builder so we can see more plugins emerging here in the forum ![]()
well the builder now has the option to do persistent builds, so you get links that you can share with users to allow them to very easily beta-test your plugins.
See MOD Cloud Builder now supports persistent, shareable builds
I have been keeping track of requests to push plugins to beta, I think everything is updated apart from the last additions from @brummer
But let’s make a test!
@brummer has recently opened a PR on the plugin builder for his ratatouille plugin on MOD.
That being Add Ratatouille by brummer10 · Pull Request #190 · mod-audio/mod-plugin-builder · GitHub
So let’s download that mk file to our PC, open builder.mod.audio/buildroot while having a MOD unit connected over USB, and do a “shareable, persistent build”.
Give it a few minutes to build…
(err this one triggers an issue on the cloud side as the build uses too much cpu/ram and hogs the service, but I saw through the logs that the build was done successfully)
And now here is an easy link to install the latest Ratatouille - MOD Cloud Builder
Should work for Duo, Duo X and Dwarf.
