could the “Install all” button be moved somewhere else, or could a confirmation prompt like “Are you sure?” be added, or could it be placed in a submenu?
It has happened to me several times that I accidentally clicked “Install All” instead of “Update All” in the plugin store: I couldn’t cancel the process. (Among other things) That would help me.
If you are seeing the “Install All” button, it means that you have the Developer Mode activated on the Advanced Settings of the WebGUI. You can simply go there and turn that off.
I guess the thought here is more for developers to do a stress test on the device. The majority of the users (even developers) won’t want to install all plugins…I guess.
Having “Update All” and “Install All” right next to each other is a bit confusing for me because of the risk of mixing them up.
By the way, I like to use Developer Mode because of the CPU temperature display, which helps me avoid overheating the device. (When you click on it, the CPU clock speed changes immediately - it would be better to be able to manually select the clock speed.)
That display would also be useful in User Mode (and on the device’s screen?). There may only be a visual warning when the temperature reaches a critical level.
