Yesterday I found out that after almost completing my first iteration of a pedal board and saving a couple of snapshots of slight variations, I attempted to add a series of plugins in series and realised that when I attempted to connect them between the rest of my plugins and to each other I was unable to do so successfully. I tried zooming into the screen to check that I was aiming the tip of the cable to align correctly with the inputs and outputs, but the cables refused to connect. Then I realised that even the device input cables would not connect to the first plugin in the signal chain.
I tried rebooting and reopening the saved pedal board, but the issue still remained. Have there been any other reports of a similar issue? Is there something I am missing here, or doing incorrectly?
Mmmhhh, this is weird… it looks like you are trying to connect the plugins dragging a cable type that is not expected by the input port of the plugin. Audio connections use purple cables, midi use cyan ones and the orange cables are for cv.

I had this only once, what was fixed after completely closing my browser windows
My first idea would be like @Abotte; that you are trying to drag the wrong cables or perhaps into a plugin not expecting that kind of connection
Could be more specific about which plugin into which plugin? You can easily copy paste screenshots here!
