Using NAM Internal NeuralAudio support for NAM A2 models

Hi I’m just a mod dwarf user trying to build my perfect multi purpose pedalboard for multistyle with both electric and spanish guitar. I’m almost there but I’m having issues on my last pedalboard.

The thing I’m experimenting is using the new NAM plugin with Fender Vibroluxe model from tone hunt.

The CPU power now with the lite option is perfect and also the behaviour and sound. I’ve buldt a complete pedalboard that I leave it here so If anyone is interested in try.

Everything runs flawesly, the sound I’m getting from both guitars is spectacular. The problems appears when I load the pedalboard comming from another one. The moment I charge this pedalboard on the dwarf itself randomly the Mod Dward seems to have 100% CPU saturation, and doesn’t recover it gets locked on this behaviour. If I reestart the Dwarf with the pedalboard selected It loads perfect. But I cannot change from another pedalboard to this one with confidence in a live sitaution.

I just wanted to report this issue. I know it’s in beta but if soemone can apport some help I’ll apreciate.

Thank you in advance,

Marc

I don’t know if its the same problem, but I’ve a similar issue with nam and this workaround works:

Thanks Andrea I’ll give it a try!

It feels to me that some default setting when you load the pedalboard is set to an “heavy” mode.

We can try to pinpoint where the issue comes by removing some plugins, saving the pedalboard without them and loading it. Then we understand if a similar behaviour still happens.

We should start with the most obvious, which is NAM. Then, I would move on to the IR/Convolution plugins, including LP3 and Shiroverb—exactly this order.

Are you able to do it? If yes, keep an eye on the CPU behaviour and note when the difference happens, or if it stays the same.
