I wish to be able to switch between pedalboards or snapshots on my Dwarf using my Morningstar MC 6 Pro. Is there a way to assign a pedalboard or snapshot to a specific MIDI channel like it’s a standalone MIDI device? If so then I could set up for Program Changes in my Morningstar editor.
I’m not looking to program the MC6 Pro to do bank-type changes, I want to program it to select a specific pedalboard or snapshot at the click of a button and I don’t know if that can be done with Control Changes.
…and just like that I figured it out. For those noobs like me:
Think of pedalboards and snapshots as separate devices. You can set your controller to program change the pedalboard device or snapshot device individually.
For the exact pedalboard, it’s how it is listed in descending order, that’s your PC 1-16 or 0-15 which your controller uses.

Looks like you’ve got it sorted, but for posterity, here’s the Wiki page that shows the settings for these changes:

Also, the pedalboard changes will respect what BANK you are in, so you can create different banks for different purposes and switch among pedalboards using the same controls.

Can banks be given program channels like pedalboards and snapshots?
Not to my knowledge. You can press simultaneously the middle (B) and right buttons (C) on the Dwarf and then the button on the right (A). Then, press the left control button to access banks. On startup, assuming you haven’t connected to the webGUI, it defaults to the last bank you used. I use banks for set lists and haven’t needed to jump in and out of them, but I can imagine a scenario in which you would want to, but AFAIK, there isn’t a way to change banks via midi. We could suggest it as a feature request to devs.
