The150€ voucher solution for crowdfunding units

As an original MOD Duo Kickstarter unit, I agree with those posts above that indicate what a great value the MOD Dwarf is. The initial price was very low for what you get, and the build quality is super.

I have been happy to support MOD Devices, now MOD Audio, in their mission. I found the offer of €150 vouchers a very fair way for MOD to solve their cash problem and fulfill the ordered units. Some months after spending the extra $150, my unit arrived, and the vouchers also arrived as promised.

All’s well that ends well. Phenomenal product from a sincere team!

I’ve been putting the dwarf to good use since receiving it Jan '23. I did opt in for the vouchers and am glad I did. Firstly, it meant the unit made its way promptly to Adelaide, Australia and secondly, it’s been handy to be able to buy a couple of plug ins off the bat - Looperlative, shiroverbs and delays! I still haven’t spent all my vouchers but am happy to know there’s a bit of a balance there to dip into!

Hi, I was on tour recently and didn’t have the chance to tweak my mod device. Unfortunately, I received it just before heading out. Now that I’m back, I’ve started exploring it and want to buy some plugins. However, I can’t seem to find a way to access my 150€ voucher or use it. I assumed it would be linked to the device, but it seems that’s not the case. How should I go about receiving the voucher? I’ve checked all my emails, but nothing was attached, and it’s not showing up in my unit. @gianfranco, could you advice?

I’m afraid it no longer applies.

Somebody correct me if I’m formulating this incorrectly as it is short and without nuance.

Mod Devices as a company ceased to exist due to solvency issues.
(long and complex story with a lot of, mostly, external challenges)

It was reborn with different parameters and goals as MOD Audio
amongst many changes, like a lot of different principles, focus and support, … a bunch of things could no longer be offered and supported. The €150 voucher was one of many things that were dropped out of necessity

Hi @danimourinho

I’ve just replied to your email.

The 150€ credit vouchers are sent in the form of a code that is inserted at the checkout, when purchasing a plugin

Yours are in place

The 150€ were issued post insovency and served as a solution to send units to backers. The ones that were issued, like Daniel above, are still valid and working.

Ah yes, Thanks for refreshing my memory. The story gets mixed up sometimes.
What I described is indeed for the units before, like mine. cheers.

I can confirm that @gianfranco re-sent my €150 again right after my post. For some reason, I didn’t get it—probably ended up in spam or something. Glad to see the MOD team is still backing everyone up, and it’s awesome that everyone got their units despite the issues. Big thanks to the whole team! I’m excited to start tweaking the device, and I’m hoping it’ll become my go-to for live shows—it checks all the boxes. Feeling great about it!
