Strange behaviour with snapshots

Apologies if this has already been answered elsewhere…

At a gig recently I tweaked a few levels on a particular snapshot and went to save (via the save button in the settings)

the mod asks would I like to save pedal board or snapshot and I press snapshot

Then the Mod ask me to name the snapshot, as if I selected ‘save as’

But when I did this previously the name is already there and I just overwrite, or update the snapshot, more like ‘save’ as opposed to ‘save as’, this is my preferred behaviour as it makes saving snapshot so much quicker.

So, is there a way to save an updated snapshot on the device without having to re-enter the snapshot name?

Hope this makes sense and there is an easy fix…

SOLVED

So this only seems to happen when saving a snapshot via the settings menu.

When navigating to snapshots with the foot pedal it works as normal.

Weirdly, after using the foot pedal method at leat once the menu setting method works as normal again.

oh and a workaround (in case this doesn’t work for anyone else) that I thought of would be to name your snaps A B C D etc…

This way they can be renamed and overwritten very quickly!
