Does anyone know if there’s an option to start a loop from the beginning of the recorded phase? Both SooperLooper and gxLiveLooper resume playback from the point set which they were stopped.
Launching a phrase on the 1 seems pretty important to using loppers live. At least for me, anyway…
Have you tried ALO, I believe it has that feature.
It’s beta, but I haven’t had any problems using it, and I use it a lot.
I have-- It doesn’t exactly have a “start loop from the beginning” function, but at Instant Loops setting 0, the loops will play to their end and stop, so re-launching them in that mode will start them from the beginning.
It’s not ideal, but it can work if you mute the loop output along with pressing stop and you don’t mind waiting however many bars until your loop finishes before retriggering. It can work if you’re looping song phrases as complete parts (say, a 4-bar chorus), but it’s not useful if you want to do live triggered cut, drill, restart kind of effects.
I would suggest you to check out looperlative when it’s out (hopefully soon). It will probably solve all your looping issues
