If midi is ok for you there is a plenty of controllers starting from 50€ to 5000€
The “mwave chocolate” is one of the most used on this forum on the cheap side. Also the Harley Benton controller works fine
If you need a control chain device you are definitely out of luck, I am sorry.

You do know that the Control Chain port is not compatible with ethernet? 
(it’s a RJ45 plug and you can use cheap ethernet cables, but it’s not ethernet)
Unfortunately there have not been any other 3rd party products compatible with this (yet).

and how do I buy an original one? I tried to contact the company by email but they never answered
It hasn’t been for sale in a long time, so the only way would be second hand.
(and I haven’t seen anyone sell one since a long time either)
What do you mean to continue the side chain? What is your use case that cannot be achieved with one or more midi or usb-midi controller?

My advice, since you are from Italy, is to look on mercatino musicale to buy a cheap midi controller like the Harley Benton mp100 or a less cheap Singular Sound Midi Maestro if you really need the screens

I agree: I was lucky enough to find a second-hand KMI Softstep (v1) on reverb.com
If you hurry there’s a PirateMidi Bridge 6 on mercatino musicale now (not mine, but if I didn’t have the Softstep, I would be very interested…)
