Release 1.4.0-RC4 (Release Candidate 4)

Hello all. This is a bugfix for the previous 1.4 release candidates.

We made some small fixes since RC3.
Everyone that has 1.4-RC3 or older v1.4 build installed, please update as soon as possible.

Hi there everyone, another major release is here - v1.4.0-RC1 aka “It’s coming right for us!”. This is a new feature release, with focus on Control Chain. There’s also some small but nice additions to improve the overall user experience. As usual, please note that this is a release candidate. That means it might be stable, but needs more testing first to make sure. Since this release requires users to receive their devices for proper testing (can’t test control chain without actual Control …

Here’s the changelog for RC4:

• fix trigger parameters under control-chain
• quick fix for audio inputs DC offset (a proper, more extensively tested fix will come later)

i used this release in a show last night without problems. there was no control chain involved, though… i’m still planning/building my controller.

is there a footswitch extender update coming to fix the issue mentioned here?:

Footswitch extension behaviour

i’ve been playing more with my footswitch extender, and am quite certain that it is behaving differently from the MOD Duo’s built-in footswitches: –MOD Duo– plugin ON/OFF controls (like main bypass switches, and the PLAY/PAUSE and RECORD buttons in sooperlooper): one press switches OFF, then another press switches ON button controls (i.e. Bollie Delay TAP and the RESET, UNDO, and REDO buttons in sooperlooper): one press makes the button go down AND up (even if you hold it) –Footswitch Extend…

Hi Mod Users.

Just to inform that last saturday, my Extended Footswitch arrives at my house (and the Arduino too, but that is another topic).

Before connect it to DUO, I did the update to Release 1.4.0-RC4.
After install, reboot and connect the Footswitch, Everything works fine.
I´d perform some basic tests, like address some plugins, and has no problem.

In the next days I will perform some intensive tests, and I will inform all of you about it.
But first of all, I need to say: Great Job,Guys !! Great Job !!

I’ve updated my install from RC1 to RC4 today and had a hanging Duo after the reboot. I (dis-)connected it from the power supply several times but it would not go beyond the boot screen. Then I started with left foot switch and knob pressed, installed RC4 again and the Duo started just fine… strange.

The footswitch extension works nicely OOTB. Thanks for this!
