Simply because the server was not paid due to the situation of the old company and the decision of its insolvency manager. Not respecting it would be pretty much a criminal move.
It’s indeed not the best situation, but there’s not much that can be skipped on that. If the bureaucracy makes it take long to set up a bank account, the fund’s transfer gets delayed and therefore it’s a snowball with all things that require any sort of payment.
In my personal perspective, it would be worst if there was no solution for the problem on the horizon, meaning: if a new company didn’t manage to get funds and buy the assets.
