Pure analog bypass but with preamps?

Hi All,

I was wondering if there was a way to use the Mod Duo X as a stereo analog preamp for a pair of microphones, in pure analog bypass mode. From the block diagram it looks like true bypass also bypasses the preamps. Is there a way to have a pure analog circuit, but also include the input preamps?

Not without completely redesigning the device.
