Problems upgrade Footwitch 0.3.0

I’m on Mod Dward OS 1.11.6.2009

When I plug in Footswitch to CC port I get a request to update.

Following the instruction fails to update. When I plug in the footswitch into the USB port of the mod whilst holding footswitch 1 the footswitch opens F: on my PC but the firmware doesn’t update.

I’ve tried the manual curl route described in the wiki and this fails too. There is no error I’m afraid. Any ideas?

I sorted it by manually copying the file after deleting the original firmware.

Great! That was what I was going to suggest. We still need to add the support/explanation of this in other platforms
