A stutter switch like the JHS stutter pedal. https://www.jhspedals.com/?attachment_id=581
This would require a momentary option on a footswitch. Press down and it either cuts the sound or lets sound through. This could be achieved with the switch plugin if footswitch can be configured.
A similar plugin idea is for something like the Boss SL-20 Slicer. https://www.boss.info/us/products/sl-20/
This would be best with a global BPM but should work if you set the BPM manually. It would be really cool if you can program your patterns.
Just made my own “slicer” effect as I’m going to be playing a song in need of this. My only issue is that I wish I could sync the tremolo and delay with a tap tempo. Maybe a universal tap tempo would a nice module. Anyway let me know what you think of this effect @Skydiver
Well, I think it sounds pretty decent, haha. Honestly, there’s not much out there that gives much direction on how to make a slicer effect - just tremolo with a square wave. So, I figured I should use the Harmless tremolo and started from there. Then I remembered all of the other cool pedals with different pitch and time effects and figured, what the hell. Anyway, let me know what you think. My only gripe is if I could control the tap tempo, like I said, and maybe if I could reduce the decay… it’s pretty freaking long. But cool
