I currently use one of my Dwarfs in the effect loop of a different guitar effect pedal. Is there a way to make the Dwarf return only the wet signal?
The Dwarf pedalboard in question contains Eq–>Chorus–>Delay–>Reverb.
Any help appreciated.
Yes, you only have to chose plugins which have a dry/wet mix that you can turn all the way up, or a dry button turned all down.
For the EQ i’not sure you’ll find something though…
Yes, I was afraid that would be the answer. It narrows down usable plugins considerably, I guess.
If you plane to use the Eq always with the delay, chorus or reverb you should have a complete wet signal, no ?
I guess the first plugin in the chain must have that mix-function (turned 100% wet and 0% dry). Today, the eq plugin is first, but I could rearrange. I’ll give it a try.
EQ doesn’t really have a dry/wet component. 100% of the signal is EQ’d so technically it is 100% “wet.”
Yep, if you want to accentuate this you can cut every frequencies and let through only the frequencies you want to boost.
An Eq is like a dry-buttons for frequency range
Thanks, everyone. I sort of got there with a few effects set to wet only. But I miss my Eventide H9 with its global setting “wet only”.
Did you sold it ?
I did, yes. Never liked the gui/app. But wonderful sound.
