If I want to use a plugin immediately after installing (or updating) it, I have to exit the plugin page, then switch back from the plugin store to the constructor, then click the category matching the plugin, then search through all plugins in that category to find it, then drag it onto the pedalboard. That’s wayyy too many steps There should just be an Add to board
button you can click next to the Install
button. Or you could call it Use
if that’s too long. It would automatically switch back to the constructor and add it onto the board.

Many years ago we went with the idea of making the store independent of the pedalboard constructor.
For one, so that no online resources were loaded/checked when loading the page initially. On v1.0 we do a ping-home-to-check-for-updates and around 1.6 we added a verification for commercial plugins (so it fetches and installs licenses).
On the store side, idea was to have it not affect the current pedalboard as much as possible.
That said, this sounds like a reasonable exception.
