It has landed, and ready for you to take off!
A sustain pedal for any instrument, for MOD Duo, Duo X and Dwarf
Press, and the moment you just played stays. Not a loop, not a freeze that stutters: a living hold that breathes like a piano’s sustain pedal, for a guitar, a voice, a synth, anything you plug
in. Lift your foot and it fades away. Press on a new note and the new one takes over while the old one dissolves underneath.
A tempo-synced tremolo chops, pulses and pans the held sound, and a Burst function kicks it off fast and lets it ease into the groove every time you press.

Why it sounds like nothing else
- It waits Set sample lag to suit your playing. On the note, or a second behind, you decide.
- No seams. The held sound is woven and matched to the waveform so they add up instead of cancelling. One clean tone for a note, a steady chord for a chord.
- Layers, not cut-offs. Every press starts a new layer while the last one fades on its own time.
- Your dry signal is untouched. The tremolo, the width and the swell all live on the held sound only.
- A real half-pedal. Put a MIDI sustain pedal on Damper and part-way down holds quieter and muffled, like the felt on a piano string.
- Advanced tremolo bpm sync, wave shapes, intervals, and a burst function that starts fast and drops into your tempo over time. Your sustained sound can sound like anything!
How to play it
- Hold: assign it to a footswitch (momentary by default). Press a moment after you pick, and
that sound stays. Lift and it fades over Decay. - Clear: If using a latching switch, assign it to a second switch or to MIDI. Drops everything.
- Damper: MIDI-learn it to your sustain pedal (CC64). Above 10 % it holds like Hold; part-way
down is quieter and darker, all the way down is full. Hold overrides it. - Sample Lag (0–1000 ms): grab later than the automatic wait, to let a chord bloom before it’s held. Press on the beat, and the grab follows.
(Hold, Clear, Damper and Sample Lag live in the plugin’s settings and on your footswitches, not on the face.)
Controls
Voicing
- Voicing controls grain size. Granular (120 ms), Cellular
(200 ms, the default), Atomic (400 ms) and Nuclear (600 ms). - Warble: off is a clean, steady hold. On, the grains start anywhere and the hold shimmers
and smears.
Envelope
- Rise: how long the held sound takes to swell in, 5 ms to 5 s.
- Sustain: where it settles once Rise is done. 100 stays full. Lower eases it down over about two seconds and darkens it on the way, to −15 dB at 50 and −30 dB at 0. It never fades out while you hold.
- Decay: the fade after you let go, 10 ms to 10 s. Turned all the way up it reads HOLD and
rings until Clear.
Tremolo
On the held sound only. It restarts on every press, so press on the beat and it lands on the beat.
- Depth: 0 is off, 100 is maximum chop.
- Rate: the tempo in BPM, 20 to 300. Type the song’s tempo; higher is faster.
- Sync: Rate follows the pedalboard tempo instead, tap tempo included. The Rate readout says SYNC.
- Divide: cycles per beat, from 1/1 to 1/32, triplets included.
- Shape: sine, square, rising saw or falling saw. Hard edges are softened just enough not to tick.
Burst
- Burst: each time the held sound starts, the tremolo starts fast and eases back to Rate. Works with any Shape.
- Rate: how fast it starts: quarters (×4), triplets (×3) or sixteenths (×16).
- Burst Time: how long it takes to settle, 50 ms to 5 s. It stays fast at first, then eases in.
Mix
- Blend: dry and held sound both full at 50; held sound only at 100.
- Width: spreads the held sound across left and right. 0 is mono.
- Pan: the tremolo’s left and right alternate, so it becomes an auto-pan. The mono sum stays level.
- Tails (in the settings): bypass lets the held sound ring out.
Presets
Fourteen presets, all have Sync on (80 BPM when the pedalboard has no tempo), Sample Lag 400 ms, Rise 300 ms, Sustain 100, Decay 5 s and Burst on, unless the last column says
otherwise. Loading one never grabs or drops a held sound, and never moves Blend.
