New Horizon Electronics - Temporal Rift Microloop sustainer

Just an early prototype share as I don’t have the time to get the artwork ready but man, this is (to me at least) so so good.

Inspired by the Gamechanger Audio Plus pedal, this is a sustainer type effect like the Infamous Stuck (which I love) but turns everything up to 11. It still includes some prototype controls (Grain and Lock) that change the sparkle and voicing a bit.

I’ve included 3 presets already as there is a lot to play with. I think the UI will actually make it easier to configure and I’ll see how fast I can get this finished because I need it on my board.

Use a momentary switch to hook it up to “hold” I’ll list the most important controls here:

Damper = Hook up an optional expression pedal for full control over the swell.
Lag=How long the plugin waits to sample. This way you can press down while striking a chord and it will automatically miss your attack and sample the sustained part)

Rise= How fast the sustain loop fades in
Tail= How fast the sustain loop fades out
Sustain=If less then 100% it will start fading automatically the moment it’s done rising
Blend = Wet/Dry (there’s stereo mix out + stereo 100% wet)
Width= stereo separation

Tremelo depth=how pronounced the tremolo is
Tremelo rate= bpm based and can sync to the clock
Division=set rate divided by what you set
Shape=tremelo wave shape
Burst= start the tremolo automatically at a multiple of your chosen tempo. It sounds like the rate starts super fast, then drops down to your set rate.
Burst from=multiplier for the burst start rate
Ease=How long it takes to go from fast to the set rate

Two quick soundclips of some of the presets.
Sorry for the Ouraverb’s Pompeii reverb setting, but it just makes it so good on headphones.

This one starts with the “burst” tremelo, (saviour preset) Then a choppier squarewave (Hammertone preset) Then without tremelo, but a bit of low grain (smooth pad), then I bumped grain to 450ms to get a much smoother tone.

More of the same really, but it starts with the smooth setting, then I switch it over to the saviour preset.
