NAM plugin always jumps to full, overloading the dwarf

Since there was no further direct feedback on the issue reported by 2 different people in this thread:

  • Is this is a known error
  • Do I need to log this issue somewhere
  • What can I do to help?

I LOVE how smooth these NAM’s run on my Dwarf so if I can contribute in getting this fixed and getting people to load NAMS on their MOD’s, I’m all ears :wink:

If it’s the updated NAM plugin with A2 support, edit the main ttl file and set the slimmable setting to default to 0. That way it will always use lite. This also assumes that you are using A2 models. A1 models will continue to just be heavy on CPU.

This was a bug, and it was fixed upstream a couple of months ago ( Fix race condition when setting the quality scale while loading a model · mikeoliphant/neural-amp-modeler-lv2@b0b720b · GitHub )

It just needs to be updated by MOD.

Just updated it for the three devices - Dwarf, Duo X and Duo.

Let me know if there is any issue.
