This looks really interesting. I’ve honestly given up on NAM on my Dwarf and I’m even considering selling it. If the MOD team ends up creating a plugin that uses this new technology, I’d definitely keep the Dwarf. @gianfranco@falkTX are there any plans to work on a plugin in the near future?
Oh man this A2 looks absolutely amazing! I’m ashamed to admit that I’m in the same boat as you (except without the threat of selling my dwarf since I’m a horrible gear hoarder!) but after failing miserably to find a great metal tone with this pedal its sadly just been gathering dust in my studio… really stoked that this might become a thing though!!
Came here to ask the same thing; is there NAM future for the Dwarf?
It’s been a while since I created a Aida model and I’ve been experimenting with the Valeton GP-50 and NAM profiles. (but not yet with better tones than I get form my Dwarf at the moment)
I’ve used the standard trainer for a Neve preamp but the frequency curve and tone is not even close. I think NAM generally makes it better for outboard gear.
To you guys who didn’t use their Dwarf for NAM, I’ve use mine but with STARLESS OS. This OS is less buggy, snapshots work fine, NAM Nano / Aida-X with custom IR’s work great. I use mine with AIDA-X but I’ve tried using full NAM Nano captures with buffering turned on, it worked! No issues. The reason I use AIDA-X is that I have captures that sound better than NAM ones in Tone3000. Here’s a sample: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xuqc1W64L-c
Vox AC30 and Matchless DC30.
Now, moving on to NAM A2 - can anybody please build the plugin to use it with Mod Dwarf??
