First gig with my Band for quite some time. Not sure yet, whether I’ll take the Dwarf or my good old pedals
In my limited experience, I’ve found that using my Dwarf at some practice/rehersals has given me a feel for how to use it (And the confidence that it works!) for a gig.
S’manth x
Usability-wise I’m already convinced of the Dwarf
But I’m struggling a bit with the sound. I like the nicely distorted bass sound i get with my pedals… I did a first capture for Aida X and got pretty close, but I still need to get closer
Nice, I’ll be travelling through Münster that day I won’t make any promises but I think I might be there
Das Schloss rockt?
I’m playing Bass in Elvellon
If you’re comming I feel like I have to use the Dwarf
Yep. So far I only know Spin My Fate, but Symphonic Metal sounds nice as well
And no pressure regarding the dwarf
Were you there?
I used the Dwarf, with the initial capture of my pedal that i mentioned above. It sounded great
Yes, I was there. It did indeed sound great! I enjoyed the show as much as I could with my backpack loaded for the weekend and friends talking to me half the time.
I didn’t see you set up on stage so I really wondered what I was hearing. Nice to hear that it was the Dwarf.
Unfortunately I had to go at around ten to ten as I had to catch my train because I had an upskilling course the next day.
there are two videos from that gig on youtube btw.
there was a camera crew on site. We recorded the multitrack audio trough our X32 and our guitarist/producer mixed it
the Dwarf is right there
Very good performance! Would love to see some of your bass pedals as inspiration
Wow, the video and audio quality is super nice! Extra points for that perfect hair headbanging action!
Thank you!
I wouldn’t know what to do on stage all the time without my hair
I’ll need to clean up my main Dwarf pedalboard a bit, before I can share it… Button assignments etc. don’t make too much sense as they are right now. I hope I’ll find time for that on the weekend.
The good audio quality is largely due to the fact, that we don’t use any guitar/bass cabinets or monitor speakers on stage, I guess. That makes it easier to get clean signals for the drums and vocals. Plus, our guitarist is a professional audio engineer
I’ve not forgotten that I promised to share the pedalboard. Simply wasn’t able to make time for it. There’s a beta plugin (brickwall limiter) on it, that I’d like to replace, so that I can properly share it publicly.
Awesome show!
