Hi all! I’ve seen a few people mention that they would like a power switch on their MOD device. I’ve been connecting/disconnecting the DC barrel connector on my Dwarf, but was concerned that doing this long-term would wear out the connector. So, I bought these. I just installed it and it works with no discernible issues. They fit the dwarf quite well. Although the barrel is slightly shorter than the one on the Dwarf power supply, it still fits properly.
I just turn mine off at the wall. Am I wrong to assume that this will not damage the Mod ward unit?

I can’t see why that’d be a problem. It should be functionally the same as any other physical switch.

I have my entire board on a similar switch; I just turn off power to my CIOKS PSU. Only thing that gets plugged/unplugged on the reg is my mains cable.

No worries it will not.
@malfunction54 this is a great suggestion. Even I considered to get one of these for a Moog synth. But ended up managing to just switch on/off the power strip with all my gear in that setup
