Controlling the IR with Midi would be great. Ability to set a CC amount for any particular IR would be ideal and a logical method to make this feature workable.

You have a workaround for that (if I understood it well), you can create a plugin preset per IR.
Yet, you can assign a specific CC for it, indeed.
