@khz I figured this completely different topic deserved a new thread

Next to Linux the primary support would have to be on the side of MOD-Host and the LV2 plugin standard.

On LV2 side there is this experiment (not official spec): GitHub - atsushieno/lv2-midi2: (ongoing/experimental) LV2 extension feature to support MIDI 2.0 UMP through cmidi2 library.
