Map channel pressure / aftertouch

Can anyone help me - how do i map my midi keyboards channel pressure to something?

Unfortunately, a direct conversion would be easier if it were something like converting a Note to CC or vice versa.
This way, I guess that you will need to take the CV route. Eventually using one of the MIDI to CV plugins (either MIDI to CV mono or MIDI to CV Poly). Then take it from there and assign it to what you need as a CV assignment.
Let us know if you manage to work it out.

The midi to cv mono and poly don’t register the aftertouch even though the midi display shows the aftertouch / pressure value changing. Even when I use the filter tool to filter all midi except pressure, I still can’t get anything to work…

hmm it feels to me that this may be a simple issue, but codewise (for lack of use cases) has not been activated. It would be great for you if the MIDI Display had something like an output per different type of message, no? That would make things super direct.

Yes please!
If poly pressure and Channel pressure could have a way to be directed to synth parameters, that would make the dwarf a great little synth module. I’m loving tal noisemaker with Grain silo reverbs- but really want some MPE support for the Roli keys.

Unfortunately, that plugin was not made by anyone at the MOD team, but it seems that it was made by a user.
I suggest that you ping him on the github page (here) and maybe bring him up here to the conversation. If he updates the plugin, I guess that then will be easier to update it in the MOD platform.

I believe you can achieve this using one of the Cardinal plugins. I had fun exploring MPE with Plaits, Elements and Surge XT modules. Polyphony is a little limited, but I think could get up to 6, depending on the module.
