Lower buffer size

Hello !

As far as I understand, the lowest block size available in the Dwarf is 128, which should gives around 5 ms of total latency. It’s not a lot by itself, but in a context of live music, where you have digital mixing desk, audio over IP, phase linear filters processing in the speaker amp and maybe another laptop in the chain, it can quickly adds up over 10-15 ms, which is unpleasant to play.

Is it possible, via ssh maybe, to lower the block size of the device to 64 smpl per blocks ?

Thank you !

I agree, I would also like this option. While the standard buffer size is an OK compromise, I’m definitely sensitive to it and would like an option for lower latency.

Thank you very much ! I’ve searched for buffer size, block size but not frame size… Thanks again !
