Left / Right balance issue

I have an issue with stereo balance using my MOD Dwarf as a stereo end of chain device for my modular system.

I’m using the mod with the output from a modular rack with various signals mixed in stereo. I have a stereo filter module and the RM Pro mastering module running, plus a 4 channel wav recorder to record both pre and post the plugins (channels 1 and 2 straight from the input of the device, 3 and 4 after the RM Pro).

I seem to have a quieter signal on the left hand side on all the recordings, and on the output of the mod.

Plugging the modular system into something else without the Mod it looks balanced.
Running it with no plugins, just the inputs routed the output one side is quieter.
I tried running just a white noise plugin to the outputs and then one side is quieter too!

So I’m a bit confused as to what it is. An input into the mod that is balanced gets recorded internally with one side quieter, but a signal generated inside the mod and sent to the outputs ends up with one output quieter than the other too.

Any ideas what else I could try?

I do not have the Dwarf myself. But first thing to check is looking in the Dwarf settings for something like Input level/gain and double check that both inputs have the same setting/value. And also double check the values for the outputs in the settings.
Hopefully it is only a value mismatch in there causing it.
