Woww, very nice!
Thanks!
Let’s dance!
That’s so awesome @autostatic ! I was really hoping somebody would publish an actual example of the MIDI Sequencer plugin.
Can you make a comment about how easy/hard it was to use it compared to other sequencers?
Thanks @acunha! The step sequencer plugins are really easy to use, they’re comparable to hardware sequencers like the Korg SQ-1(0). It’s basically a matter of setting the right notes, note length and tempo for your sequences, connect them to plugins that accept MIDI input and generate noise and then select the desired steps to generate your beats, bass-lines and melodies
In this pedalboard I’m controlling the sequences with my Akai MPK Mini. I can enable or disable sequences by sending out CC’s that toggle the MIDI Key/Range filter plugins on or off. I played the chords live using the JX10 plugin and played around a bit with the filter cutoff and resonance of the Nekobi plugin that plays the melody line.
Very well done Jeremy. I’m glad you find it easy to use, too!
There’s a undocumented feature: If you click to “D” you enter Drum mode (not only display), active notes are re-triggered every step. So you can make a sequence of e.g. 8 HiHat hits, all in one row, which would otherwise be a single long note.
Once the MOD features global Tempo, multiple synchronized sequencers will become an option. Less tricks will be needed to filter MIDI. Things will only get better

But definitely a handy feature

See the small “M” “N” “D” buttons below the note 16seg display bottom right’ish?
When selecting “Drum” labels, you also get “Drum” mode. works here on the MOD.
I started adding tooltips to the various controls but not for this mode, which is why I mentioned it here.
