As you can see on the thread with my first board “FilterStep1”, this only works if you plug a midi cable from the out- to the in-port. (FilterSteps 1 - MOD Devices)
It would be great if you could also route midi events to parameters within the system.
this has been discussed before, and we are considering adding it as a form of “loopback” midi port that can be enabled.
so a new midi plug appears at the output, and anything you connect to it is looped back around to the input(s).
it is not so much of an implementation effort at this point, but more of a design/UI choice.
