How to upload Pedalboard to the cloud

Stupid question I’m afraid. Trying to share a Pedalboard with the cloud but I get an error saying can’t upload as no screen shot but I have no idea how to attach the screenshot to the upload.

I know I’m missing something stupid but I just can’t see it today…sorry to ask.

Cheers

There is a bug that block large pedalboard to generate a screenshot. The solution I had was to reduce the size (height and width) then save and share

Cheers will give it a spin now

Made the window tiny but still not having it I’m afraid

Try to save the pedalboard again (perhaps with another name, just in case) and then wait a bit before you 1) turn off the device, 2) load up another pedalboard, 3) (if possible) pretty much do anything. After a while, take a look at the pedalboard library and check if this saved pedalboard appears with a screenshot there. If yes, try to share it then.
Let us know if this works.

Morning Jon, hope you’re well. Just checked my library and it’s there with a screenshot but still not uploading. Is it the beta plugin causing the issue?

Your pedalboard will be on the cloud but won’t be in the public feed, just to avoid downloading beta (and potential issues with) plugins on other users devices.

Is the screenshot generated ?

Really likely. Is it possible to download the DM_Seq from the MOD Store, or do you need to manually install it? I believe that you need to install it manually. If I’m right, that is also a point for issues.
Try to remove it and check if you can share the board (even if that looses all the point of it)

EDIT: Yeah, you got the answer from @DaveM here:

He is right

Yeah guessed that was the case. Guess everyone is doing their own mapping then🤣

Not sure how much of the infrastructure is still going but really need to get DaveM’s amazing work in the store at some point. I had been neglecting the dwarf until I started using his stuff.

Thanks for getting back so quick

I’m happy with the current feature set for the two new plugins, both Seq and TimeWarp. Some features were added since the first release based on user feedback. Thanks to all of you!

So I’m pretty much ready to request them to be added to the store. That might take a bit of time because it needs manual approval from the MOD team.

Thank you for those amazing plugins and the others you have published! They are really musical and fub to play with. What`s next? Can one dream of a midilooper with the ability to record cc automations? :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Thanks! Dreaming is always allowed
Are you looking for a midi looper that should sync with the host transport? Because I expect that to be the hardest part.

I don’t have any particular new idea yet. I have been exploring some spectral effects though. But that’s some new theory that I have to get my head around.

Yes a midi looper with host transport would be nice. But yes, it might run into internal midi clock issues. Sometimes I use an an external clock to avoid possible jitter. Recording midi CC automations would probably need less accurate sync to midi clock.. Wish I could help, but coding skills are nonexistent unfortunately. Spectral effects sound exiting!

Even though this is off-topic, I have another idea ^^:

A synth like this is fun. Is a plugin similar to SimplexFM possible under Linux? - LinuxMusicians
Perhaps with an audio input that allows you to receive MIDI notes from the incoming audio signal and control the synth that way (in addition to the normal MIDI cabling), using the audio signal as an FM/AM/ring modulator/your own voice.

A Ringmodulator / Frequency Shifter like e. g. Red Panda Radius.
