Hardware Bypass click in Midi utilisation

Hello,

Is there a solution to remove the clicking sound from the “hardware bypass” plugin, during midi utilisation please?

If not, does your external MIDI Bypass hardware also make a clicking sound?

Which unit are you using ?

What is this ?

Thanks, I am using a Mod duo.

An “External Midi bypass hardware” is a bypass footswitch.

Mine, a Digitech FS 300, doesn’t work with my Mod Duo…

@Jumo I guess the click sound that you are mentioning comes from the device. Otherwise I don’t really understand what you mean.

In that case, it is not possible, because the click that you listen are the physical relays switching to do the actual hardware bypass.

Wow, thanks !

It should. What did you do to try to make it work ? Did you follow the wiki guide?

So, you’re saying I can’t use virtual MIDI instruments, or switch between them without that click every time I switch?

Does everyone experience this, please?

I buyed a Lhele TRS to Midi Cable and i changed the direction because it was an A type and the Mod duo needs a B type.

But it’s not working. Via Midi in.

All is working now.

It was my midi keyboard who was sending a very low note…

Thanks all.

Thanks for closing the loop. Just for clarity, you’re saying that the click you were experiencing was a low note being sent by your midi controller (keyboard in this case)?
