Stereo version of the simple volume gain plugin without "zipping" noise while messing with the gain parameter.

I use this Stereo Gain plugin adjusting volume quite a lot, but it would be quite useful to me and others if it had another coarse parameter range, maybe from -infinity to +3dB or +6dB. I seldom have to boost gain up to 40dB if the incoming signal has the correct gain, but I like to cut signals more often in a snapshot.
Then I can adjust the gain more precisely when I assign it to an encoder range.
I could imagine that the range could be switchable, but assigning it to an encoder makes it customizable for itself…
