Fuzz with sag

Hi

I’m trying to find a fuzz like sound from Norman Greenbaum’s Spirit in the Sky on mod dwarf.

It may not be possible to get that sound digitally. I bought a pedal with voltage control which get me pretty close.

There are a good selection of fuzz plugins but I’ve not found one with sag effect/that 60’s tone. Worse case i can just use fuzz pedal with dwarf but I’m trying to minimise the pedals on board.

Is it even possible to get this sound digitally?

Take a look at this: Moog, Mutable and Strymon plugins - #3 by Kim
My recommendation: Try to rebuild it with creative usage of different plugins and good routing.
