Footswitch C broken, fixable?

I just bought a used Mod Dwarf and upon arrival i noticed that footswitch C is loose. I tried to tighten by hand but both the shaft (bolt) and hex nut were moving together. I think it is internally broken. Tried both the tool-tuner and tool-tempo.

I’m very handy with the soldering iron, and was wondering if I can repair this myself or just return the product. Any info is appreciated.

If it’s only the footswitch, you don’t even need the solder iron  , at least on the Dwarf board side.

You need either to tighten the nuts or, if the footswitch is really broken (I didn’t understand properly if that could be the case), get some SPST footswitches and replace it. I recomend maybe to replace the 3 of them since that may be easier than finding one that looks exactly the same.

@jon . Just wanted to thank you. The shaft (bolt) wasn’t attached to the switch body anymore and just rotates along with the hex nut. I guess it was stomped too hard. Shop is replacing all 3 switches with better parts. Thank you for your advice! Can’t wait to experiment and maybe write some code.
