External Tap Tempo in Live Concert

I state that I do not yet have the Dwarf, I await it. I would like to understand if it is possible to drive the tap tempo from a trigger connected to the drum box, in order to play live songs not in time, with slowing down and making the delay follow the drummer. Thanks to those who can help me.

Hi @LorisDonatelli, I’m not 100% sure if I got what you are trying to achieve. Anyway from your post, I assume that it is either to assign system tap tempo to a MIDI Note or assign system tap tempo to an audio trigger signal. Please, correct me if I’m wrong.

Both could be achieved, requiring some workarounds.
With the MIDI Note, you need to change the Note to a CC before it enters the system. That could be done by processing it with the MIDI Note to CC plugin, and looping back MIDI into the device.
With the audio trigger signal, I would do the following: audio in > Audio To CV plugin > CV Slew Rate Limiter plugin with quick uptime, slower downtime, make the output of cv slew rate limiter available as addressing the source, address to tempo.

Hope that it helps you

Thanks for the reply, I was referring to an Audio Trigger.
