This is how looks pedalboard with MIDI commands for Tonex.
What is nice Dwarf lets to consolidate CC commands - it means that it is possible to use one knob to set for eg MIX of every modulation effect. In tonex mix, rate, depth control of every modulation effect is controlled by different CC command but since Dwarf has Control to CV plugin it is possible to use single knob to do that. It took few hours to make it work properly but now it is a game changer - I can tweak all effects without a need of using tonex sub menus.
will you publish this? It might be the last thing needed to add a tonex to the setup.
hard to say, I did it on few sessions. If you know how midi works and have midi implementation it is not so hard to do.
yes, but I need some time to make it more clearer for other users, so it will be not so hard to assign knobs/footswitches to Dwarf.
Looks great! I want to set Dwarf as a midi controller for my NAM PLayer/Ampero II Stomp Setup. Maybe I start with this board and check wat I can adapt.
I have the Ampero Stomp II too. Im not confident enough to tweak with midi commands, but if you manage to create the midi control pedalboard ,please share it too, I would be extremely grateful!
what functions do you want to have?
Yes, please type what functions you want to control via MIDI, we can help you understand how it works and how you can create a pedalboard with controlling via midi.
Thank you guys, at the moment, I just would like to have extra buttons for the stomp mode in the Ampero
Ok, but what should those buttons do? Change presets, ON/OFF specyfic function?
Oh sorry, just activate/deactivate the effect in the chain. ie: deactivate the reverb, activate the chorus…
If you want me to make a pedalboard I need to know which exact effects you want to ON/OFF. Every effect is controlled by different CC number, so I need to know which of them you would like to ON/OFF. Then I will use Ampero’s MIDI implemantation chart to set appriopriate commands.
Ah ok! Once I get an exact idea of the final board I will get back to you (I am still experimenting with both units). Thanks again for your time!!!
