I want to get drums with variable tembo, so it would consist of midi stuff, but what I need to do that? I can use one of midi drum kits but how can I send apriopriate midi notes to get drums in differet genres? Till now I have been using audio file player with drums in wave but they do not let to change tempo. Can I get something like beat buddy from singularis without spending hours programing it?
seems to me like you want a sequencer or some midi controller with sequencing capabilities. there may be some time sync issues to resolve… or if you want preset rhythms, maybe there are midi files out there for those rhythms, you can load those to your MOD device, use the midi file player plugin to play those and switch between them, and you can then allocate midi channels however you want, etc., use tap tempo…
