I know this is a long shot but is there any way of getting the Cardinal plugin host module working. Most module seem to work fine on the Duo X except that one.
Naturally I understand it is a tricky one!

That would be a big no.
If you want to route audio to other MOD plugins then use some of the extra i/o for that
Not sure what you mean here?
You mean the Carla and Ildaeil modules, yes? These can host LV2 plugins, like the ones we have inside MOD.
If you want to route audio to LV2 plugins, you can use any of the additional audio i/o in Cardinal to go to these plugins running inside MOD.
Aka: you donāt need the plugin host modules in Cardinal.
I mean using VSTs which Ildaeil can also load in Cardinal Desktop - this doesnāt seem to work when trying to run these on the Mod X.
Guess itās a compatibility issue and cannot port VSTās over to the MOD X architecture? I did say it was a long shot!
Theoretically it could work on desktop, but the UI/UX would not be good and indeed it would be impossible to use on any of the MOD devices.
The UI isnāt an issue, Iād want to use preset FX so no need to edit them on the device.
When you say ādesktopā - do you mean Cardinal? It works fine there with VSTās.
Guessing that cannot be transferred to the MOD X due to the FX a not being in the right format?
I mean mod-desktop as that is running on your computer, but lets not digress: this is not going to happen
On MOD Cardinal is not a plugin-host, these plugins you want to use will never run on a MOD device since they are built for your desktop machine.
Yeah, had a feeling that might be the case.
Hi!
Latest version 24.09 of this plugin connected with remote to MOD DUO X Latest firmware 13.15 to causes crash in Bitwig 5 and Live11.
Cardinal itself works well as VST3 plugin but not with the MOD DUO X
This happens on Mac OS Catalina. Cardinal Native and Jack also crashes on Mac OS Catalina.
