At the moment you can assign all buttons of the duox with the Control to CV plugin. Would it be possible to assign the buttons as well?
I think you have a typo, that sentence makes no sense.
“we can assign all buttons, can we assign buttons too?”
Right, that was a bug on my part.

At the moment you can assign all knobs of the duox with the Control to CV plugin. Would it be possible to assign the buttons as well?

Everything is possible if you go hard enough.
If you have the “control to cv” at value 10, and then something after that either lets the signal pass through or cuts it to zero, you can map that 2nd plugin on/off to a button

I can’t assign the button to it, I can only do that with the knobs.
But I want to assign it to the button on the device (modx).
cant you just map the “control to cv” on/off switch to a button?
if the plugin is off, the cv output port should go to zero.

I would not have thought of that, but in retrospect it is logical. 
It would be good if such examples were listed in the wiki, there are endless possibilities.

The wiki needs some more love which I (or even we) are not at the moment finding much time to give. I hope that I can solve that “soon”. Yet, all users are welcome to edit and publish anything there.
