Cc control / midi - pedalboard / snapshot change

Hi

I’ve figured out how to control snapshot / pedalboards using assign all - this allows me to scroll through based on the creation order using footswitch.

Is it at all possible to assign a specific pedalboard or snapshot to a switch ? I can use control change or midi

I think dwarf would be more gig friendly with :

Hierarchy of changes along the lines of set list → song → song part

With smart coding you can use hierarchy to check for values at the lowest level. I suppose that would need major change.

It should be okay for me I’m playing using 4 tones only mostly.

You can use MIDI PC codes to switch pedalboards or snapshots :

With the infamous mindi plugin and virtual MIDI loopback, you should be able to assign a specific pedalbord or snapshot to a footswitch.

Hi @funkypou. Since you seem knowledgeable on this topic, perhaps you could tell me what the generic assignments are on Mod devices for snapshots please? I couldn’t find this information, other than the midi channel setting to 1 or 2 . Is it PC commands which are assigned to the snapshots, and are they numbered 0-127 or 1-128?

Hi @dscb57,
I haven’t used that for a while but there are some answers in the last link of my previous post. The doc says that, indeed, PC commands are used to call the snapshots.
