I’d really like to try out sending the output of the Audio to CV Pitch plugin to the Cardinal synth - but I dont see any examples (or have I missed them?)
When I have tried out various example pedalboards - if I route the Audio2CvPitch plugin to one of the CV inputs of Cardinal - nothing seems to happen.
I realize I havent fully got the “model” of Cardinal in my head - so I may be barking up the wrong tree.
But a simple pedalboard to demonstrate feasibility would be great if anyone could do one
Hi Steve,
I may not be answering the question you are asking but giving it a shot. What I learned with Cardinal is that I have to build a Cardinal VCV patch in my DAW, connect to remote, then push to a Cardinal module within the Mod Duo pedalboard. Since my PC and audio interface does not have CV the Cardinal Host CV is blank so I am unable to use the Audio To CV Pitch or any other CV plugin to connect to a Cardinal patch. There is a version of the Cardinal Mini in the Plugin Store that looks and acts like VCV Rack but with a limited number of modules. There you can zoom in, right click, and choose the Cardinal Host CV module. You can connect that to a scope then plug in the CV out from the Audio To CV Pitch module into the CV In to see the results.
I’d like to say it was expermentation by me which created it - but no! I bought another second hand Mod Dwarf from someone not far from me, and this was one of the boards on it. Total serendipity. Does exactly what you suggested!
