I start using the mod dwarf and I have a special interest in effects automation (example: pilot an effect parameter with a midi sequencer)
Some effect parameters can only be controlled through control chain (harmonizer, cv randomizer, … and a lot of effects from mod devices)
It would open a lot of possibilities if effects parameters that can only be controlled by control chain could also be controlled by midi CV. This would close the gap between the midi world and the control chain world, and for us having to wait for an eventual plugin update that add CV support.
For this purpose, I think a control chain virtual device could be a good start, then a plugin that maps midi CV to control chain messages, similar to the existing midi CC to midi CV plugin.
