BPM set by Midi

Hi,
I was wondering if there is already a way to set the BPM of a plugin through Midi (like loop length, based on set number of bars or so on).
Anyone knows if there is some plan for that ?

you can change any plugin control via midi cc.
changing a control based on midi clock is another story. that would be something for later (when we got transport controls…)
