Hi,
Put together and shared a rough ‘under the hood’ Binson Echorec 2 emulation. It does contain a couple of Beta plugins (Tetr4 Switch and a limiter) but might satisfy anyone not able to scratch that itch currently.
(In the audio example the duo x is connected in the loop of another device where the Echorec is providing delay post-speaker cab.)
Enjoy!!

How to control the tempo? with session tap?

By session tap, do you mean the same as ‘tap tempo’? If so, the short answer is there isn’t tap tempo configured.
The goal was just to see if I could recreate the effect in an ‘off-the-shelf’ fashion and a schematic.
However, to control the tempo/delay time you just use the Control to CV dial to set your max delay time (the one above the DELAY TIME note). It controls all the 4 delay lines relatively but you can check the delay time on the 4th delay line down to see what it’s set to.
i.e.
0 = 300ms = 200bpm 1/4 notes
Max = 1000ms = 60bpm 1/4 notes
If you have specific tempo’s you want to match then you may know to use the 60,000/BPM formula
e.g
60,000 / 120bpm = 500ms
Hope that helps
