I love all the details about how you are using these. It would be great to have a way of providing this info for all the plugins and maybe a rating system and number of downloads/installations for both the beta and regular part of the store. A boy can dream can’t he? Just in case you didn’t see it, they are aggregating information about what beta plugins folks use and need at
It’s a long list, so clearly they (we?) have our work cut out for them (us?).
@steve first of all, thanks for your feedback. I hope you filled up the survey with your choices since that will make our life easier (we plan to use it as the first filter/priority definer).
Yes, but it’s a painful process because you have to operate on a single file: it would be greatly appreciated if a chechbox is added to allow multi-selection.
I can say that two plugins area already getting distance from others.
Yet, I would love to get more answers on the survey (please ). I realised that the thread was not anymore pinned, so I pinned it on top for more two weeks. It would be great to get a little boom of answers so by the end of maximum next week we could start sharing results and making plans.
Why not use this list - which is constantly updated (with a link to the respective plugin’s homepage, …) - as a permanent reference for voting? Some plugins move to the official store, while new ones are added to the beta store.
This way, you can always see the current status of the plugins and the level of user interest. ModAudio decides whether and which ones.
That is not a bad idea and we can indeed keep it rolling. Yet, for now I would like to have a bit more voices speaking before starting “getting the hands dirty with the cleaning”. But yeah…likely the latest by the end of next week I would share the results and the take aways. That means that some days before I will start looking to the numbers and to the plugins side by side.
I can tell you that I have already obtained quite relevant results, which allow us to set priorities on what needs to be done for each plugin to move from beta to the stable store. I can tell you that we boiled down the list to 17 plugins.
I hope by the end of this week or early next week to have finished mapping the needs for each plugin.
